You may ask yourself.. what sets Dreamtec Racing apart from other teams?
Our answer is simple.. we are the only UK Motorsport team to be set-up, funded, built, developed and raced by students. Every aspect of what you see has been done by our team of 4 - with a lot of hard work. We don't have a university in the background, doing deals and potentially matching invested money.
We have made a significant investment in this team - and are asking for you to help fund a proportion of our 2015 season, because with your help we can push for top flight results.
2014 saw us make it to all 7 Rounds on the calendar... gaining consistent top 10 results in all races. While some of the more experienced teams and driver had issues, we finished every race last year. Which speaks volumes about our build quality!
Not only this - we also got first in class in The Dunlop VAG Trophy, Round 5 at Brands Hatch GP circuit. Proving that when it all comes together we can provide the results.
In 2013 we spent the year slowly funding and building a car to race in the Mk2 Golf GTi Championships. After a lot of investment and development by us, we hit the track in 2014, running in Class B (16v) of The Dunlop Mk2 Golf GTi Championship.
After a lot of thought, 2015 sees us switch to the highly exciting BRSCC Production Gti Championship - Which offers a better level of competitive racing at some of the UKs biggest and best circuits.
